As an information security engineer within Mastercard's Fusion Center, I am dedicated to securing digital infrastructures and protecting organizations from cyber threats. I earned my bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Jackson State University, where I developed a strong foundation in the field. During my undergraduate studies, I conducted research on cutting-edge cybersecurity topics, particularly Graph Theory and SCADA systems. This research allowed me to delve deeper into the intricacies of cybersecurity and understand the underlying principles that drive secure systems. I am excited to further enhance my expertise and broaden my understanding of cybersecurity through a master's program at NYU, specializing in cybersecurity. Starting in Fall 2023, I am expected to graduate in Spring 2025. This program at NYU will equip me with advanced knowledge and skills necessary to address ever-evolving security challenges and contribute significantly to the field. While my current focus is on information security engineering at Mastercard's Fusion Center, I am eager to explore the dynamic field of Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) once I become established in the industry.
