As the First South South Asian/Muslim Lieutenant Commander in NYPD history, I've spent my career leveraging expertise in investigations, public policy, department management and collaboration with political leaders and community stakeholders to promote and maintain public trust, uphold integrity, and enhance public health and safety. Of my many lifetime accomplishments, I have:>Co-founded and led the Bangladeshi American Police Association (BAPA)>Successfully organized two (2) town hall meetings between police commissioner and 500 Bangladeshi community leaders to improve community relations with NYPD.>Repeatedly and consistently earned a perfect score of five (5) on annual performance evaluations throughout tenure.>Elected to Trustee Ex-Officio position at City University of New York. I take great pride in being a results-oriented, multilingual communicator committed to equity and inclusion among law enforcement ranks.
