Experienced and energetic Store Manager with 20+ years of working in the retail industry, 18 years in leadership. Currently Leading a team of 15+ associates, including leadership team. Skilled in Leadership, people development, payroll, planning and prioritizing, key metrics, Inventory Control/shrink, Retail, Sales, Customer Service, employee relations, and Management. Previously lead a project team of 15 associates for a new brand partnership with Walgreens. The project included a store remodel for multiple store locations within the Austin, TX market. The project required constant communication between corporate leaders, construction team, upper management, and project team. Planning, efficiency, and training were key components for a successful transition and completion. As the Austin area was one of the first to roll out the new program, there was a lot of problem solving involved and quick decision making. I have experience opening and relocating multiple Walgreens stores in Illinois and Texas. Involving planning, preparation, training, and meeting tight deadlines. Also requiring to meet all federal and local laws and regulations. I was in charge of overseeing the beauty department for the district for over 5 years. Partnering with the district management team, on average of 12 store managers, and the beauty team within stores. I lead the cosmetic wall resets twice a year, recruiting teams to complete the process on a deadline. I held weekly conference calls to cover individual metrics and upcoming beauty events. This required creating a strong team engagement and providing well deserved recognition. I created donation events for an Austin’s woman’s shelter to actively give back to the community, partnering with the lead beauty advisors to assist with the events.
