Background
About Shanan Nelson
Director and Senior Physiotherapist at SANA Physiotherapy, the company i started in early 2022 with the aim of improving accessibility and quality of physiotherapy services available across the South East Queensland region. I am proudly a Griffith University Alumni holding both Bachelor of Exercise Science(2018) and Master of Physiotherapy(2020) degrees. My education experiences, both in class and on practicums has heavily shaped my early career in physiotherapy. I have high hopes for the physiotherapy profession in to the future, as i see physiotherapy becoming an increasingly central locus of care for Australia's rapidly ageing population. My hope is that mainstream healthcare and Medicare progressively provide more funding towards preventative interventions as well as conservative management of common athletic and age related conditions. I have a firm belief in movement optimism and trying to reduce barriers of entry to resistance exercise for the general public. Across the Sunshine Coast region and surrounds i am looking to build a network of trusted Allied Health Clinicians, Doctors and supporting occupations in order to achieve fantastic results for our local population. If you would like to get in touch or organise a meeting, please contact me on: E: info@sanaphysio.com.au Ph: 0434119110
