About Shandi Storr

I am a licensed nurse with years of clinical experience caring for a diverse variety of patients. I've dedicated my career to providing safe, effective, and compassionate healthcare to patients. Everyday, I strive to incorporate science of nursing with the art of caring for patient's and their families. I am currently the Unit Nurse Practice Council Co-Chair and Charge nurse. I oversee the development, implementation and evaluation of practice standards. I work with all nursing levels to drive evidence and innovation that result improved clinical outcomes. I work to provide guidance and support the nurses at the unit and hospital levels. When not in the hospital, you can find me spending time with my husband and toddler. This has taught me the importance of being present in the moment, flexibility and patience, qualities that I try to bring into my professional life as well.
