About Shane Brown

I have worked or supervised in the civil & construction industry for more than 25 years, in a variety of roles, projects and environments. I am skilled in the use of all common earthworks machinery, including final trim and gps on an excavator. I hold an extensive list of licenses required within the industry that are machine operating, pipe laying / welding and high risk related. I have co- managed teams of 20 and supervised projects with up to 75 employees plus additional contractors. I am skilled in delivering small, medium and large projects on time and in budget. However I am also happy to work within the team along side my colleagues if I am not supervising. I have excellent verbal and written communication. I am experienced in project meetings and identifying when contract variations will be required and ensuring the required paperwork is provided to submit the variation. I am open to learning any new concepts to successfully deliver any project in any capacity. I genuinely enjoy the industry and prefer to work with a team that is willing to let you grow into a new role and excel in your own areas of expertise while learning from others and utilizing their skills to grow a stronger team.
