For 23 years I worked in the affordable housing industry, starting as a front line manager, working my way to the Vice President. This provided great insight and experience in maintaining small and large apartments, from the roof to the foundation. The financial limitation of affordable housing required continual review, and updating, of each properties capital needs, and finding repair options that were within the properties budget. This experience and seeing the premature failure of roofs in 8 states lead me to seek alternative options to repair and attempt to preserve roofs that were failing within 14-18 years after installation. Insurance companies denied a majority of claims, shingle manufactures denied every claim, and the installers were no longer in business to warranty their work. After reviewing multiple roof coating systems I was introduced to Nano Sealers. Seeing how this product works, the technology behind it, the warranty it offers, and the cost savings it provides is how Sensible Exterior Preservation was created.
