I have over 15 years of professional experience in the finance and lending industry and over 10 years of underwriting experience. I have real estate and consumer underwriting experience in both bank and credit union environments. Some of my essential job functions have included underwriting at various authority and exception levels, calculating complex income scenarios, handling escalation/exception requests, coaching/mentoring, credit repair and management, loan origination, loan processing, and loan closing. I have extensive experience with several lending products including conforming purchase mortgages, refinance mortgages, home equity loans and lines of credit, vehicle loans, cycle/boat/recreational loans, personal unsecured loans, unsecured lines of credit, and credit cards. Additionally, I have experience working with FNMA and FMLC AUS along with company overlays. My underwriting skillset is very valuable and unique based on my diverse exposure to different loan products, working in different types of lending organizations, and having underwritten at various levels of authority with a continual upward trend as my career continues to progress. Also, my work ethic, ambition, tenacity, and level of competitiveness cannot be understated. Most importantly - I'm a GOOD person to work with! I show up with a good attitude (in office or remotely), I stay diligently focused on the task at hand (at times I am obsessive over the quality and quantity of my work), I'm cheerful and optimistic, and I make sure to go out of my way to personally connect with my teammates. I pride myself on being a great teammate as much as I do being a great individual contributor to my team.
