About Shane Dyer

Hello, My name is Shane Dyer. I am currently the Coordinator of Sales and Marketing for HockeyStickMan in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. In my current role, my focuses are retail sales in our shoppable warehouse, wholesale opportunities with organizations, teams, leagues etc, as well as events and activations. From an activation standpoint, I work with stakeholders that are looking to extend their visibility and allow for opportunities to showcase the offerings that HockeyStickMan has to offer outside the brick and mortar, as well as Ecomm. I was formerly a Field Experience Specialist for Toronto and Canada. I was also an Assistant Manager with Under Armour in Kingston. My department was focused on marketing in the Canadian market while supporting Americas as a whole. I was able to engage both the community and the Brand Houses and Factory Houses therein. My focus will be transcending the brand into a a truly grassroots experience throughout the the GTA and all across Canada. I worked with many people throughout the brand to ensure each experience is in the best interest of Under Armour and its athletes. I look forward to offering passion and drive, the UA way, in creating memorable experiences and developing and working with members of the sporting industry. I have completed the Business program through IT Sligo, Ireland. I completed this program, and have ascertained my degree in Business. In 2020, graduated from the 2 year Sporting Goods Business program at Sir Sandford Fleming College in Peterborough, Ontario. I was also an intern at Bauer Hockey during the 2019 summer, and a volunteer with the Greater Peterborough Health Services Foundation. With the GPHSF, I was a member of the committee for the 2019 NHL Alumni Event I am a firm believer in utilizing my skills, along with my previous experiences in a myriad of areas including law enforcement, emergency services, Canadian Forces, and warehousing to name a few. I am willing to meet new people for the purpose of networking, as well as being a mental health advocate, I am always willing to sit and have discussions that are for the betterment of people as individuals and groups. My current passions in terms of my career is in sales and marketing. As an extrovert, I am able and willing to reach out and take the steps in not only learning and evolving my new found craft of sales, but I am always finding new ways to learn and be taught, as we can never be too old to learn something new.
