About Shane Ferran

I love making a great presentation that speaks for itself. I'm not as fond of speaking about myself. So here's four things about me and my work. 1) They say there's three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics. I've got the last one covered. I graduated in Mathematics to have the last one covered. My coursework focused heavily in probability and statistics. This gave me a great background of skills in parsing data and making sense of it. 2) I'm a big computer geek and enjoy keeping up with the software and hardware. I can understand some coding and algorithms, and build my own at home. 3) My favorite parts of a project at work are coordinating with my team to set the project goals, determining useful information in the process, and creating a finished, easy to understand product. 4) I love to help a good cause, and for me that's animal rescue. I'm always trying to help save the cats by fostering and coordinating transport and rescue. I enjoy meeting new people and learning new things.
