About Shane Fleming
I am a Mechanical Design Engineer working on electric vehicle chargers and associated systems. I originally trained as an Aircraft Mechanic in the Royal Air Force, serving until 2010 when I joined the oil industry. I completed a BEng in mechanical engineering part time while working as a Mechanical Engineer, designing and supporting well intervention and production systems. I left the oil industry in 2022 to join EV charging startup Trojan Energy. Trojan Energy has a small, but exceptionally talented team. It is a real privilege to collaborate on new ideas and have the freedom to explore novel solutions. I am currently studying for a MSc in Industrial Robotics at Aberdeen University.
