About Shane Harris

Shane has over 26 years experience in the building services industry working in various roles including Office Manager, team leader, senior project manager, design manager and engineering design and construction phase delivery services of various multi disciplinary projects for Social Infrastructure (Defence, custodial, tertiary education and health), heavy industry, residential, commercial and retail. Prior to joining Kramer Ausenco as the Fiji Office Manager and Group Building Services Manager, Shane, worked for Sinclair Knight Merz on a diverse range of projects both within Australia and overseas. This included mechanical services for bed Dubai Prison Project and Park Place Tower in Dubai (60 Storey multi development / residential tower). During his time in Fiji, Shane has attained Profession Member of Fiji Institute of Engineers (FIE), Professional Membership with Institute of Engineers PNG (IEPNG) and sits on the council of FIE supporting Professional Engineering locally in Fiji. Shane is also accredited in a number of engineering fields including Green Star Accredited Professional and Code Compliance (Australian and New Zealand Standards). Shane also sits on the council board of FCEF (Fiji Commerce and Employment Federation) within the Professional & Financial Services Council supporting the development of local business and polices in Fiji and sets the benchmark for supporting local engineers in Fiji in the Construction Industry. Shane also champions and leads Kramer Ausenco’s Graduate Program exposing graduate engineers locally to other graduates and projects across the Pacific increasing their awareness and experience as they develop into Professional Engineers. In addition to the above, Shane is also current President for Rotary Suva East which is a International non profit organization that creates lasting change in communities around the world through local projects and fundraising.
