Professionally, I have a decade of hands-on and management experience in a diverse range of roles, most extensively in Data, Technology, Analytics and Operations. I am adept at using modern programming tools for data manipulation, ELT/ETL and presentation, such as Excel, Power Query, Python, SQL Server, Microsoft Azure (Data Factory / Synapse), Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. Alongside managing the Solutions Team for a busy Technology Dept, I am also the Technical Lead for our ELT/ETL, Data Warehousing, BI, Publishing and Finance Solutions. Our tech stack is comprised of Microsoft Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Server, PowerBI, Microsoft Fabric, Dynamics 365 and Biblio (Virtusales). We maintain and develop our solutions both in-house and with external suppliers and we manage our time and releases via an Agile methodology leveraging CI/CD in Azure DevOps. I am currently undertaking a graduate higher diploma in Computer Science, finishing mid-2024, and I am on track to finish with a 1st Class Honours. I've also continuously educated myself via online learning, especially in the topics of Computer Science, Project Management, Business Analysis, and Data Engineering.
