I drive innovation, create a culture of collaboration, and turn project ideas into tangible realities. I'm the head of technology at Greater Goods where we tackle a broad gamut of complex problems. Our goal is to help our customers live thoughtfully through our products, and technology is a key component of how we reach that goal. From mobile apps and marketing to cellular home health devices, we're helping real people tame the complexity in their lives so they can focus on what matters the most. I've built a powerful and nimble team that's able to move quickly from one project to the next, often across platforms and tools, and that shows daily growth in our ability to meaningfully integrate solutions. We take broadly diverse requirements and distill them down to tangible realities, all while communicating in plain language with our non-technical colleagues. I'm an executive leader helping to drive company strategy, making sure that technology helps solve problems—not create new ones—while creating new business opportunities. Our world today is full of tech answers in search of a problem; I'm not a tech-first but a systems-first thinker. Today's customers want solutions, not products. I'm still a hands-on-keyboard engineer, making significant personal contributions to our products. I'm experienced up and down the tech stack, having had success in mobile, web, embedded, and server-side projects. I've been the chief architect for numerous databases, APIs, and server-side infrastructures, and I've single-handedly created the back-end systems for most of the organization's daily data operations. My work is fundamentally robust, secure, test-driven, and reliable. I have a passion for sustainability, ecology, and creating a world where it's easier to do good.
