About Shane Isaacson
I have worked in the aviation industry for over 20 years, with a background in aircraft manufacture/production, maintenance and operations. I began my career with Airbus UK in 2002, as an Aircraft Fitter Apprentice working on the Airbus wing manufacturing line. After 3 years of training as an Aircraft Fitter I was selected to join the Enginering Apprenticeship scheme where I graduated as a Design Engineer. At the end of my apprenticeship I joined the A320 concessions department, and I was responsible for supporting the new China wing production. In 2008 I left Airbus and joined Monarch Aircraft Engineering, working in the Airworthiness Department (Part M) as a Technical Services Engineer. In 2011 I joined easyJet as a Sytems Fleet Engineer, responsible for looking after ATA 28 & 30 systems on the A319/A320 fleet. In 2013 I moved to the easyJet Structures Department as a Part-21 Engineer providing in house minor modifications and repairs for the easyJet fleet.
