Hello, I’m Shane. As a trusted education specialist who excels in nurturing both hard and soft skills, I design and lead engaging learning initiatives for both virtual and real-world environments. By developing effective learning strategies and bespoke programs, I help managers and employees reach their full potential so they’re able to offer customers the optimal experience across every interaction. Graduating with a Masters of Arts in eLearning from the University of Technology (Sydney) and a BA in Vocational Education and Training from Charles Sturt University, I have a strong foundation of communication, interpersonal and negotiating capabilities. My experience as an Senior Educational Officer - Educational Designer, Manager of New Learning Technologies and Masters e-Learning Course Coordinator have all played an important part in my commitment to developing the highest quality of learning products, platforms, tools and environments. As a Learning Manager at AbbVie, I’m now empowered to innovate various effective frameworks and e-Learning plans that can be easily facilitated in the digital landscape. Aside from winning multiple Global Awards at Abbvie, one of my proudest career moments involved delivering an affiliate organisation’s virtual meeting strategy to all team members of the business – which improved the way we engage with internal and external customers. In the future, I aspire to create more digital solutions and learning content development programs that support professionals to establish collaborative relationships with stakeholders. I’m a life-long learner and very much a problem solver. My goal is to consistently be a leader who embraces new ways to encourage other leaders in the industry to become more customer-centric.
