About Shane King

Presently a Delivery Advisor at Tesla, I try to make my, and my team's job easier everyday. For me, I'm most engaged when my work can have a meaningful impact on the world. The jobs that truly speak to me, the ones that make me happiest are those that have direct impact on making the world a little better. Terror Behind the Walls, a fundraiser for a historical preservation society in Philadelphia, helps maintain the facilities at the United State's first Penitentiary, while also being one of the largest haunted houses in the United States. With Wondergy we traveled miles and performed shows in over 40 states in a single school year. My coworker and I performed 'The Science of Skateboarding' for over 300 audiences that year, in groups of sometimes 800 students, and other times only 18 students. Working as a Scuba Instructor for nearly three years was, and is a passion of mine. Showing people the amazing relationships of the science they know, and use everyday, even if they don't know it, and how it applies to diving is a passion of mine. Especially introducing them to the incredible world underwater. It's nearly impossible to be a scuba diver and not become a conservationist. And now at Tesla, we change the world a little bit day by day with every Electric Vehicle we sell that replaces an ICE vehicle. More importantly, we're changing the world.
