About Shane Kinzer
I am currently an optometry student, class of 2023, at Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, OR. My undergraduate education took place at Lewis-Clark State College (LCSC) in Lewiston, ID where I was conferred the degrees of Associate of Science in Radiographic Science (2012) and Bachelor of Science in Biology (2019). Throughout my undergraduate education I was participated in two research teams that provided me with the opportunity to co-author a primary literature publication as well as present scientific research both through poster and oral presentations. After graduating from LCSC in 2012 with an A.S. I worked as an x-ray, CT and MRI technician before returning to LCSC to pursue a bachelors degree. While pursuing a bachelors degree, and before applying to optometry school, I worked full-time and part-time as an optometric technician at a private practice in Lewiston, ID and Moscow, ID where I discovered my passion for eye care. I am currently a member of both the AOSA and AOA.
