Later, I lived in California during the craft beer revolution, witnessing how innovation transformed beer from a commodity to a cultural icon. I then spent 9 years in France, mastering how the French elevate agricultural products like Champagne and wine into luxury items. I’ve built my career at the intersection of agriculture, luxury markets, and craft brewing, combining deep industry knowledge with a passion for artisanal craftsmanship — creating rare, single vintage ales that reflect the essence of their harvest year. Currently, I’m the CEO of Malt Donkey — a vertically integrated platform that controls every stage of the process, from heirloom barley cultivation to precision malting and brewing. Our focus is on crafting single vintage ales — limited-edition, sensory-rich expressions of terroir and time. My experience includes- Over 15 years in global investment and private equity, focused on the food, beverage, and agriculture sectors- Former CEO of Unigrains Développement, a investment fund subsidiary of the €1B French Grain Grower investment fund specializing in agribusiness and agri-food brands, who are investors in the largest malt company on the planet and one of the top French Champagne houses — combining agricultural expertise with luxury brand positioning- Taught luxury marketing during my EMBA by one of the world’s top experts in luxury brand strategy- Appointed as a Grand Master of the Order of the Grand Cru Alers — recognizing my contributions to the art of single vintage ales. What sets me apart: I merge investment strategy with artisanal brewing — creating a new category of luxury beer. My focus is on curating an experience that rivals fine wine and aged whiskey.
