About Shane Needs

An experienced Manager with a wealth of transferable skills gained in the retail sector having managed a number of businesses over the years. I have gained a wealth of experience in the retail sector including embroidery and printing sector and the travel and tourism sector. A key person to build relationships with a range of customers including business to business, business to customer, schools and sports organisations. Experience in the day-to-day management of a business, including customer relations, bookkeeping, financial controlling and order/production management. A competent fluent Welsh speaker, having been in Welsh education since the age of 3. I am extremely keen to develop the use of the Welsh language in the workplace, using the language with colleagues and customers. The Secretary of a local grassroots junior football league, where responsibilities include the day-to-day management of the League, dealing with the finances, correspondence and enquiries. In December 2016 I was appointed as a Community Governor at Ysgol Gymraeg Trelyn and was made the Vice-Chairman until most recently where I have now become the Chairperson.
