About Shane Patterson

My name is Shane Patterson, a Technical Sales Representative for Dell Technologies with over two years experience in the role. This is a specialty focusing on the areas of server, storage, networking and hyper- converged infrastructure. The main part of my job is helping customers on their IT digital transformation journeys of modernising their data centres whilst harnessing Dell’s product offerings in the process.Another core part of my role is working with the sales teams of Account Managers and Account Executives against quarterly sales targets and ensuring annual growth in the various lines of business.Outside of this, I am a member of the Sports and Social Committee which allows me to network with people across different business units onsite.Before joining Dell Technologies in 2022, I completed my BSc in Marketing from Technological University Dublin (TUD). In my studies, I wrote my final year dissertation - ‘Dadvertising: An exploration into the portrayal of the role of fatherhood in marketing communications from an Irish perspective.’ I also had the opportunity to study abroad in Berlin for a semester which allowed me to enhance my cultural awareness and global perspective.
