As an Environmental Compliance Specialist at Belshire Environmental Services, I handle several key tasks. I prepare compliance reports and make sure we follow local, state, and federal regulations. My job includes checking permits and protocols for air quality, hazardous waste, spill prevention, and wastewater. I also review technician’s work orders and test results to ensure everything is functioning correctly and stays in compliance. Additionally, I support environmental regulations and project needs, conduct training for on-site staff, and handle follow-up actions to ensure we stay compliant. With a Bachelor's degree in Science, specializing in Sustainability from San Diego State University, I gained a solid foundation in environmental science, sustainable practices, and the relationship between society and the environment. This education has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to tackle complex sustainability issues and find practical solutions. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with activities like skateboarding, surfing, and snowboarding. These hobbies not only keep me connected to the environment but also reinforce my commitment to sustainability.
