Background
About Shane Roberts
An environmental scientist with soil, groundwater, and vapour sampling experience. I have completed Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments, performed geotechnical and hydrogeological testing, as well as remediation work for clients across southern Ontario. I now continue to work on Stage I & II Preliminary Site Investigations, Detailed Site Investigations, and remediation projects on Vancouver Island. My Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences from the University of Guelph opened up wonderful opportunities to learn about a variety of environmental disciplines. These included soil science, aquatic systems, climate change abatement, and agroforestry. Before environmental consulting, my past field work experience included: collecting foods in order to screen them for contaminants, teaching ecology in and outdoor setting, and lake water testing in the southern Ontario region.
