About Shane Sole

A proud West Virginia native, Shane Sole is a Senior Level Executive in the furniture industry with close to 20 years of experience. He has a spirit to inspire and lead from a source of love and empathy, often excluded from today’s corporate culture. Shane places a primary focus on the development of people, utilizing a leadership approach that magnifies a team’s potential, while building a high performing culture and delivering consistent, winning results. All the while, he is highly skilled at managing change, process improvement, and successfully creating and executing an innovative plan of action. Today, as COO for Star Furniture, Shane continues to spearhead sales and day-to-day operations. He directly oversees inventory, purchasing, merchandising, and marketing. Since 2020, working closely with ownership, Shane has had access to the financials and balance sheet. As a senior level executive, Shane has been able to drive down costs and operational expenses while improving profit goals. He has successfully been able to keep a high-quality standard of customer service in the local communities and continue the philanthropy efforts of Star Furniture. Shane is extremely blessed to have an amazing wife of 15 years, Laura, and 3 beautiful kids, Addison, Judah, and Hannah. A servant leader who values character and integrity, he is currently serving as Board President for Chestnut Mountain Ranch. CMR is a Christ-centered safe haven for boys with an emphasis on education and family restoration. Since 2011 Shane has served 2 terms on the Board of Directors and has been involved with The Ranch since its foundation in 2007. With a passion for the industry combined with years of experience in all facets of furniture retail, Shane is poised for the future. It is said that when someone has been given much, much will be required; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required. It has become his life’s mission to give back. As Shane continues to create thriving culture, serve with intention, and lead well; the best is yet to come.
