About Shane Stevens

I am currently the Senior Manager Optimization Operations in the Flightscape division of CAE. This role requires that I use my knowledge, experience and credibility to drive innovation, manage risks, foster team collaboration, and contribute to the overall success and growth of the optimization products and services. Even though I have dabbled in other industries, my passion and primary area of domain expertise is within the Crew Resources area of Airlines, with this now expanding to other operational domains and in particular the desire to seek optimization utilized to its fullest potential. This has been gained from 20+ years in this area which is always changing, never boring, and ever challenging. Specialties: • Utilizing my knowledge, experience, and credibility to quickly understand client challenges and provide trusted suggestions and recommendations as to how to address them • Analysing the ever-changing operational requirements of an airline and determining solutions to these in terms of both processes and systems. • Utilizing and pushing software, including optimization, to deliver its maximum potential. • Gathering client requirements and converting to quality specifications. • Using my technical skills to support the implementation and delivery of software.
