Currently, as an IS Application Analyst for Virtual Health and Telemedicine, I serve as a technical and educational cornerstone for the team, specializing in devices essential for Virtual Health. I provide remote and on-site troubleshooting support for our current vendor solutions, maintain proactive communication, and also identify opportunities to integrate cutting-edge technologies like Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality, and AI, all to help revolutionize care delivery. My collaboration with vendors, providers, and care teams enhances patient engagement through varied innovative approaches. Previous to this in 2021, as a Device Technician, I gained hands-on experience with large scale technology projects, device builds and enhancements, ServiceNow ticketing and incident reporting, and efficient troubleshooting. My role involved constant preparation, proactive communication, and ensuring exceptional customer service was delivered every single day. Spearheading the Patient Technology Specialist role in 2018, I researched, evaluated, and implemented technologies to enhance patient experiences. I managed a wide range of devices, participated in senior leadership meetings, attended nationwide conferences, and collaborated with donors to acquire needed items. This role was a direct patient care position, where I was able to provide the utmost of care with an array of unique and innovative technologies. Some days would be spent using Virtual Reality to help a patient ambulate, where other days I may be using these tools as a distraction method during an Oncology patients port-access procedure. I was very humbled in this role, with the opportunity to help our pediatric population feel better during their worst days. Starting as an Administrative Assistant in 2014, I provided secretarial and administrative assistance, ensuring audit and compliance standards, managing records, and performing timekeeping tasks. My experience included interacting with staff and executives, maintaining office inventories, and improving my skills through educational workshops. Throughout my tenure here at Lee Health, I have managed vendor relationships, worked on large-scale projects totaling up to $25M, and gave valued input up to the C-suite level. I am eager to continue my growth in the healthcare spectrum, leveraging my diverse skill set to contribute to technological advancements and improved patient care.
