I don't mind growing my network because you never know when a connection will change your life. And, before you ask, the company is named after me. I joined Shane Homes at a young age and studied the new house building industry from the ground up, first working on job sites and subsequently in the Sales and Marketing department. As Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, I was responsible for driving innovation in marketing and design. I am now the CEO and President of the Group of Companies. I appreciate the homebuilding/development sector and how it has changed over time. My goal is for everyone of our customers to have an engaging, personalized experience that they will want to talk about. I still enjoy dabbling in Sales, & Marketing, and Design, but my responsibility is to guide the Shane Homes Group of Companies through this ever-changing world, and I am certain we’ll be successful. I excel at visioning, and I enjoy change management and public speaking. Social media is my creative outlet, and mentoring is an excellent method to share your experiences. On a personal level, I am is a self-proclaimed "tech junkie" and a social media influencer across various platforms. I am also a member of the LGBT community. I am also on the board of directors for the Alberta Enterprise Group. In addition to that, I write a monthly opinion column for Business in Calgary and the Western Standard.
