About Shaneil Prasad

Shaneil Prasad is from Vancouver, British Columbia. Exposure to post-production and studio life in his high school years inspired him to build a career in the audio industry. Shaneil decide to pursue his education at The Art Institute of Vancouver. While at The Art Institute of Vancouver. Shaneil refined his ear for recording and mixing music while working non-stop with bands and artists. He also developed a knack for video game audio, as well as seasoned his skills in post-production and location sound. As his time at school continued he found himself entrenched in the world of video game audio, specializing in sound effects, and implementation. He has a well-rounded and diverse skill set in all things audio. In 2014 Shaneil co-founded White Iris Productions along with his two colleagues Yamil Salgado and German Prieto. White Iris Productions is a multi-purpose production team that is equipped with the vision and skills to reinvigorate the marriage of audio and film. They produce bands, artists, music videos, and all variations of short form media. Most days you can find Shaneil working on film sets recording audio, or in the studio either mixing or recording various bands and post-production projects.
