Shankar Vaidya works as Test Specialist at Mindtree Ltd. Shankar worked on multiple technologies and with diverse teams since he joined the Deloitte back in July 2017 as a Business Technology Analyst. He worked for one of the US's biggest insurance firm as Mainframe QA team member from July 2017 - July 2019. He proposed automation initiatives by identifying the automation scope in manual QA work using VBA macros. He led these automation initiatives successfully and got awarded multiple times for the effort saved with automation. Shankar worked on Salesforce Sales Cloud transformation project from July 2019 - March 2020. He completed his Salesforce Administrator and ISTQB Testing certification. He continued his automation work and automated complicated integration scenarios. Prior to joining Deloitte, Shankar worked with Infosys as Test Engineer from July 2015 to July 2017. He completed his training successfully on Python, Databases, IBM Cognos, Informatica Power Center and Tableau from July 2015 to December 2015. Then he worked with Australia's biggest Bank as member of Datawarehouse and ETL testing team. He worked on Mainframe, Informatica, Teradata, HP ALM and Jira. He worked for Data warehouse automation using the Infosys automation tool Perfaware. He created an automation tool to automate HP ALM using VBA macro. This tool helped reduce manual effort and made the ALM work simple for which he got awarded.
