Shannon Bauer has been a business development leader for over 30 years across multiple industries; the last 15 years being concentrated within the Post Acute Care arena. Currently, Shannon works for Best Life Brands/Boost Home Healthcare in Contracting and Business Development; assisting them with the implementation of their national home health contracting strategy, education and processes. In today's marketplace, understanding the role contracting plays in the home health / home care business development process is vital to an agencies' success. Since 2020, Shannon has been a Patient Education Consultant with Octapharma, USA. As a member of the CVID patient community, Shannon seeks to give back and help those that are like her; living and working with a Primary Immune Deficiency / Common Variable Immunodeficiency (CVID). From 2008-2022 Shannon worked for Accredited Home Health and Home Care Services in the Post Acute Care Industry; beginning as a Marketing Representative and finalizing her time with the company as their Director of Business Development in Southern California. Accredited was acquired in December of 2021, and Shannon's position eliminated when the home health division was closed as of April 2022. Shannon's passion and willingness to help others, to be creative, along with her ability to problem solve has forged many lasting relationships within the Southern California Medical Community."As new adventures begin, I'm grateful for all those who have touched my life, shown me such kindness, and given me the opportunity to grow and learn".
