About Shannon Ditto

I have been working in arts and education fields for the past 20 years throughout New England and my home state of Ohio. In addition to providing support and leadership in schools and extended learning programs, I love to create engaging hands on curriculum. Some of my favorite subjects are: STEAM, SEL, and project based learning. I have had the opportunity to help students express themselves through performance and art, while equipping them with the communication skills and confidence they will use to reach their future academic, career, and life goals. My teaching method is strongly student focused, allowing each student to build upon their personal strengths and bring their gained awareness to their future careers. I have filled various types of educational positions which have allowed me to master: · Creating and implementing comprehensive academic curriculum · Supporting each student in generating their own personal objectives · Facilitating an inclusive and collaborative learning environment · Evaluating individual student growth and performance In addition to class facilitation, I possess the artistic and management skills to lead in theatrical productions. I have ample experience in managing, directing, and producing theatrical productions for multiple capacities.
