I am passionate about making a difference in our city that will bring positive traveling experiences through innovative best practices!My greatest strength is striving for impersonal, objective truth when investigating citizen concerns and promoting workplace contentment. I have a high standard for performance, applied to myself most strongly, which helps in processing complex situations.My journey in traffic engineering began as a Traffic Analyst and has equipped me with invaluable experience in collecting, compiling, and analyzing traffic data to evaluate the need for new traffic signals and systems. Observing patterns and meaning in facts brings visions of new possibilities and different ways of doing things. Jonas Salk, who developed the Salk Polio Vaccine, said, “Intuition will tell the thinking mind where to look next.”With my lead-from-the-front style, I have expanded the fieldwork to cross-sections within our division, bringing the opportunity to "step into someone else's shoes" and experience Shreveport Traffic Engineering from a new perspective. Now, we can support our barricade crew during annual parades and the warehouse during annual inventory.
