About Shannon Lykowski

Currently as the Senior Education and Meetings Coordinator at ASES, I oversee the coordination of all live events and lab courses, ensuring seamless execution and delivering impactful experiences for participants. Additionally, I spearheaded the research, development, and launch of our new Learning Management System (LMS) — ASES LINK — and continue to manage and optimize it for improved user experience and efficiency. My role bridges event management with technology, driving innovation and enhancing the educational journey for all involved. As an educator at Central CUSD 301, a district that values innovation, collaboration, and diversity, I have been twice recognized as an exemplary educator for my outstanding performance and commitment to student growth. I have over 12 years of work experience in the education sector and a Bachelor of Education degree from Northern Illinois University. I design and deliver effective and differentiated instruction that meets the diverse needs and interests of my students. I also use Google Workspace and Office 365 tools to enhance communication, collaboration, and productivity among students and staff. Additionally, I am involved in talent development initiatives that support the professional learning and development of my fellow educators and myself. I am passionate and skilled in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students, families, and the community.
