I gained 11 years of experience as an inspector while working with the Florida Department of Transportation District 5. I have 27 years of experience as a consultant bridge inspector with a combined 38 years of experience involving the construction and Quality Management and Inspection of various projects, including Stay Cable/Segmental/Arch/Conventional Bridges, At Grade/ Elevated Light Rail, Post Tensioned Retaining Walls and road construction. I am currently the Quality Manager for the Shimmick-Parsons JV assigned Sound Transit E320 East Link Project in Bellevue, Washington. Previously performed as a Quality Manager, with more than 27 years of experience involving the construction and inspection of both complex and conventional bridge structures, elevated and at grade light rail, domestic long span, free standing Arch from foundation work to superstructure and final finishes. My experience includes precast and cast-in-place segmental bridges, utilizing form travelers, launching gantries, and conventional falsework systems and span by span construction. Experienced in staged construction, geometry control software, mass concrete/thermal control plans, post tensioning systems, large design build projects. I have provided training to clients on inspection methods to be used when inspecting segmental and conventional bridge construction projects. I have extensive experience involving geometry control and surveys, post-tensioning,grouting, and material testing, and Six Sigma quality assurance standards; quality assurance and quality control. I am currently certified USACE-CQM,ASBI grouting technician, PTI Level I Unbonded Installer and Level 2 Bonded PTI Field Specialist. I have used problem solving techniques to aid clients with contractor claims issues and has performed detailed bid estimates and force account documentation for clients. I have also worked on team reviews for specification re-writes and has written and reviewed new specifications for state governments in addition to performing constructibility reviews for complex bridges and bid estimates.
