About Shannon Ring
I am a fourth year Environmental Engineering major, pursuing a minor in Environmental and Sustainability Studies, at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. I am currently looking for a full time position beginning after graduation in May 2019 as an Environmental Engineer. I am interested in the topics of water engineering, wastewater engineering, and environmental consulting. I have had experience as an intern at UrthPact where I designed and implemented a company-wide recycling and composting program. I have also worked on research in the WPI Environmental Engineering department focused on exploring how water infrastructure affects waterborne disease incidence. Some of my strengths in the workplace are the ability to work on team, the ability to learn in a fast-paced environment, adaptability, problem-solving skills, attention to detail and strong communication and leadership skills.
