About Shannon Robinson

Marine Biologist graduate with a mix of field and consultancy experience, working across projects with Wilder Humber, Ocean Ecology, The Deep, and international conservation work in Thailand. My background combines practical, hands-on fieldwork with data analysis and mapping skills, supporting everything from baseline surveys to environmental reporting. I’ve worked with tools like GIS, ArcMap, RStudio, and PRIMER, and I’m experienced in habitat surveys, quadrats, species ID, and general ecological monitoring. I enjoy working outdoors just as much as digging into data behind a screen, and I’m comfortable contributing to fast-paced consultancy teams or longer-term research projects. Always keen to be part of meaningful work that supports better decisions for nature and development. I am open to new opportunities / experiences in environmental consultancy and ecological fieldwork. Currently completing a Master’s focused on assessing ecological status of coastal sites using Water Framework Directive (WFD) assessment tools. My work involves a mix of field data collection, habitat surveys, and environmental reporting, backed by strong data analysis skills.
