About Shannon Sbar

Shannon, a highly accomplished leader with over two decades of experience in the channel, joined Schneider Electric in 2007 as the Director of Distribution. Her keen focus on digitization and being at the forefront of technology has propelled her to the Vice President of Channels, where she leads the North American Secure Power Channels organization. Shannon is responsible for driving revenue, strategy, and profitability, all while remaining dedicated to sustainability and diversity and inclusion. Under Shannon's leadership, her team, comprised of IT Distribution, National Solution Providers, Electrical Distribution, Dell, Retail, Ecommerce Partners, Field Sales, and Channel Marketing, has been able to increase business effectiveness, create strategic relationships, drive growth, and improve customer satisfaction. Shannon's unwavering commitment to the channel has earned her numerous accolades, including CRN's Channel Chiefs from 2013 to 2023, CRN's Women of the Channel from 2011 to 2022, and the prestigious "Power 100" in the Channel for several consecutive years.Shannon has also been recognized for her contributions to the industry, published in multiple channel media publications and has spoken on executive panels such as the Cisco House Women's Leadership Forum, Tech Data's Channel Link, The Channel Company’s "Women of the Channel,” and CDW's Women Opportunity Network. Shannon is a two-time Stevie “Women in Business” award winner in 2021 and 2022.Before joining Schneider Electric, Shannon developed sales and marketing strategies for channels as the Director of Distribution and DMR for Philips Consumer Electronics. Her drive and innovative mindset earned her the 2005 Channel Excellence Award by Philips' executive team. Shannon also gained valuable retail experience during her five-year tenure at Vivendi Universal as a National Account Director.Shannon is passionate about supporting and empowering women in the channel to succeed and lead in business. Based in Tampa, Florida, Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University.
