About Shannon Sowder

After 38 years in hospitality and 32 of those in the hotel industry I have been faced with many challenges. Challenges that have ranged from localized small issues to challenges on a global scale. Critical thinking, attention to details, and taking the time to think things through have allowed me to face these challenges head on, overcome them, and in the end be successful and learn from the opportunity. Hospitality is not just an occupation, but a way of life. It’s where my passion falls. You have an overwhelming need to be helpful, entertaining, and willing to put others needs before your own. To search for and resolve issues before you even know they exist all while offering memorable and world class service at the same time maximizing the asset and profitability to management & ownership. While my career has mainly consisted of jobs in the hospitality field the skills, ambition, and drive that have allowed me to be successful would easily translate to many other employment opportunities. I look forward to new challenges that will allow me to learn, grow, and continue to be successful personally and professionally.
