About Shannon Stapleton

I have been working in the early childhood field since 1993, and I have a strong passion for working with children. I have a firm belief that young children are a sponge and learning begins at birth. Early childhood educators are some of the most important educators our children have and they need to be honored and respected as such. I am certified to teach CPR and first aide through the American Red Cross. I am also certified to teach abusive head trauma and I am an approved tier level trainer on the Wisconsin Registry. I am also passionate in regard to the field of mental health. I have been volunteering with NAMI of Waukesha County and have been receiving training and certification for crisis prevention and peer support counseling through NAMI. I am trained in Mental Health First Aide as well.
