With over 12 years of work experience, I am a passionate and skilled leader specializing in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) while also contributing to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. My expertise lies in creating safer workplaces, driving operational efficiency, and embedding sustainability into organizational practices. Currently, I serve as an Assistant General Manager at Vikram Solar Ltd, where my primary focus is leading workplace safety and ensuring compliance with robust EHS standards. I design and implement EHS strategies that enhance safety culture, mitigate risks, and foster environmental stewardship. Alongside my EHS responsibilities, I oversee ESG initiatives, including the development of sustainability frameworks and integration of circular economy principles to optimize resource efficiency and reduce waste. Furthermore, I am a proud Indian Navy veteran. With a decade-long tenure in the Safety, and Environment Operations domain of the Indian Navy, I had the honour of serving onboard various warships and leading safe military operations in challenging environments, both domestically and abroad. This experience shaped my ability to solve complex problems, think critically, and make decisive decisions under pressure. I also gained hands-on expertise in managing EHS responsibilities, ensuring operational readiness, and prioritizing personnel safety in high-stakes scenarios. Additionally, my naval career helped me cultivate strong communication and leadership skills by working with diverse teams and adapting to rapidly evolving circumstances. These capabilities have been instrumental in navigating the dynamic challenges of corporate EHS and ESG roles, where safety, sustainability, and operational excellence intersect.
