About Shantanu Dixit

Having received my “Bachelor of Dental Surgery” from SGT University's Faculty of Dental Sciences in 2010 and my Master of Dental Surgery in Oral Medicine and Radiology from SDM College of Dental Sciences & Hospital in Dharwad, Karnataka in 2014, I am now practising dentistry. In the year 2021, I received my “Doctorate” in dentistry from JJT University. Since the year 2021, I've been an “Associate Professor” in the Department of Nursing at JJT University in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. Faculty of Dental Sciences at SGT University in Gurugram, Haryana, hired me as an associate professor for three years and two months. I was the institute's Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) in addition to my academic and clinical duties. After spending four years and three months as an “Assistant Professor” at the Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences in Dhulikhel (Nepal), I accepted this position. I am an expert in diagnosis and treatment of Oral and maxillofacial diseases. Also, I have expertise in CBCT, CT, and MRI interpretation related to oral and maxillofacial region. I am practising and teaching the same with a total experience of more than 7 years. I am registered with Dubai Health Authority and Haryana State Dental Council (India) as an “Oral physician and maxillofacial radiologist.” Also, to my enthusiasm for research and my desire to further my education, I chose to focus my master’s dissertation on the “correlation between the presence of myofibroblasts and the severity of oral submucous fibrosis (OSMF)”. Myofibroblasts, which were found to grow in number with the severity of OSMF, should be the primary focus of treatment, according to the study's findings. My doctoral dissertation was "Co-relation of dento-maxillofacial abnormalities with normal anatomical variants of Sella Turcica." The results of this study can be used to estimate the likelihood of dentomaxillofacial abnormalities based solely on the shape of the sella turcica. In addition, as an author or co-author, I have published works in publications of national and international renown, covering a wide variety of themes in dentistry and medicine. I have been a featured speaker, chairperson, and presenter at a number of national and international conferences.
