Shantell J. Chambliss, PhD is an award-winning entrepreneur, business strategist, and nonprofit powerhouse with a passion for building mission-driven organizations from the inside out. With a career that spans healthcare, consulting, media, cultural arts, and the nonprofit sector, she brings a rare blend of business acumen and heart-centered leadership to every space she enters. A lifelong student of organizational development, Shantell combines her extensive academic background with over 15 years of hands-on experience as a coach and consultant to help businesses and nonprofits launch, scale, and sustain impact. Her methods are grounded in strategy and systems—but her secret sauce is her unwavering commitment to empowering people and communities. Driven by her deep belief in the power of purpose-driven work, Shantell is the Founder and Executive Director of Dress for Success® Central Virginia, where she leads with vision and intention to help women thrive in work and in life. Her influence extends nationally through Nonprofitability®, her consulting firm dedicated to equipping nonprofit leaders with the tools, training, and support to create sustainable change. In addition to her leadership roles, she serves as Vice Chair of the Board for Children Incorporated and is a proud graduate of Nonprofit Learning Point’s Emerging Nonprofit Leader program. She’s also a former fellow with Virginia Commonwealth University’s Division of Community Engagement. Recognized by Style Weekly (Top 40 Under 40), Belle Magazine, Yahoo! She holds a BS in Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University, an MBA from Strayer University, and a PhD in Organizational Management from Capella University, all with concentrations in Human Resource Management.
