About Shanu Sherwani

Shanu Sherwani is the CIO and Deputy CEO of AM Investment, a private equity fund based in Luxembourg that manages 1 billion euros in assets under management (AUM). He is also a partner at Antwort Capital, a platform that provides qualified private investors with access to top quartile private equity (PE) funds. Previously, he served as the Conducting Officer for Distribution and Valuation at Castik Capital, where he also led Investor Relations. Prior to that, he worked at Threestones Capital as the Head of Business Development and Investor Relations, overseeing the creation of new real estate funds in the healthcare sector and other niche markets. Before joining Threestones Capital, Shanu led M&A activities at Post Group Luxembourg. He has extensive experience in Corporate Finance and Private Equity, having assisted with several major M&A deals in Luxembourg and abroad. Earlier in his career, Shanu was a Senior Manager at KPMG Corporate Finance and then at Muller & Associes, where he led client projects in M&A advisory and corporate finance across various industries. Shanu is a member of the Luxembourg Federation of Young Business Leaders (FJD), the Luxembourg Private Equity Association (LPEA). He is a Luxembourg-qualified Chartered Accountant (“Expert-Comptable”) and holds a Master’s degree in International Management and Corporate Finance from the ICHEC Brussels Management School in Belgium, as well as a Post Graduate Certificates in Private Markets from Oxford’s Said Business School, Imperial College London, Harvard Business School and managerial finance from London School of Economics. Shanu is a regular contributor to AGEFI, Paperjam and Delano leading financial publications in Luxembourg on private equity subjects. His specialties include alternative investment funds, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and valuation.
