About Shaonli Sengupta

A writer and advertising graduate, I am now an avid food entrepreneur. Following an early stage career in advertising, business development and content writing, I journeyed into food, nutrition and social media blending my passion of connecting people and cultures with food, healthy living and writing. Following a learning pursuit in nutrition, I set up my own home kitchen offering Traditional Bengali cuisine delivering curated meals that speak to the diversity and richness of centuries of seasonal and cultural amalgamation that makes the unique food of Bengal, especially Kolkata. With advanced skills in content writing, I intend to further grow my brand “Pakshaal- Homely Bengali” that reaches patrons through enhanced social media engagement and presence. Reading, writing, researching, exercising, meditating, journaling, and connecting with kindred spirits help me grow personally. Through collaborations with chefs, restaurants, cafes and other professional kitchens, “Pakshaal- Homely Bengali” continues to offer curated food experiences- connecting people, knitting stories and telling new tales.
