About Sharan Gade

As a Data Engineer at Restaurant Brands International, I lead a team of data engineers to build and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines and platforms using AWS, Databricks and PostgreSQL. I also collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights and solutions for the global food service industry. With over six years of experience in data engineering, I have developed strong skills in Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, HBase, Data bricks, and Snowflake, as well as data modeling and ETL tools such as Informatica. I have successfully ingested and processed data from various sources and formats, using file-based, batch, real-time, and event-driven methods. I have a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Anurag Group of Institutions, where I learned the fundamentals of programming, algorithms, and data structures. I am passionate about leveraging data to create value and impact for businesses and customers. I enjoy working with diverse and cross-functional teams, and I am always eager to learn new technologies and best practices. My goal is to continue to grow as a data engineer and leader, and to contribute to the innovation and excellence of the data engineering field.
