About Sharell Scott

I graduated from Syracuse University in May 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. During my time there, I’ve done some project work including data mining using Python, and developing iOS mobile apps. I also took a few courses for Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Database Management and iOS Development. I began working at Google as a Technical Operations Engineer (TOE) in August 2020, where I currently assist other employees with troubleshooting their technical issues using my knowledge of various technologies, like Linux systems. Using 20% of my week, I also contribute to engineering solutions by completing software tool development tasks. For example, using Python and SQL, I contributed code to a tool that enables TOEs to troubleshoot faster. In July 2022 - January 2023, I completed a Site Reliability Engineer rotation where I used system design principles to evaluate and design systems to ensure its production readiness. In my spare time, I continue to exercise my passion and sharpen my skills through side projects. My side projects include developing iOS mobile applications, writing Python scripts and doing data analysis using Python.
