About Shari Menchaca

I started my IT career in March 2001 with Prism Data Systems working under the direction of senior members in the development of business software for the restaurant industry. As a Junior Programmer, I maintained and developed legacy software and gained the professional skills of debugging, testing, documentation and software management, working both in a team environment as well as with minimal supervision. While working at Prism, I acquired a Master’s of Science degree in Information Technology. Over the past 10 years as a Senior Programmer/Developer my skills and responsibilities expanded to include project management, requirements gathering and documentation, application design and architecture, software deployment, technical documentation, and user training and support, often working directly with top-level management on custom requests and enhancements. Other responsibilities include Database Administration, Server Maintenance and System Administration for the company. I am experienced in SDLC, Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
