About Shari Morris

A professional with over 14 years of compliance and auditing experience with a passion for positive forward thinking, progression and growth. I am a confident self-starter, spearheading the development of the State of Maryland’s first ever compliance monitoring web-based data collection system and an updated and fully functioning In-Kind process for TRP’s participant transaction group. I am team player, with excellent interpersonal, governmental, and organizational skills who regularly encourages cooperation, trust and team spirit with colleagues and provides assistance and mentoring of junior compliance monitor staff. I have handled hundreds of audits and compliance monitoring visits in a discreet and professional manner, while maintaining confidential information with the highest ethical standards and discretion. I am a proven and effective leader, having taught and facilitated training events regularly at the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention's compliance monitoring trainings in addition to providing direct supervision and day to day management of a small team of compliance monitoring interns and other professional staff for over seven years.
