Learning Director/Administrator of Visalia Technical Early College High School, Visalia Unified School District I am passionate about informing all students about all college and career preparation and opportunities-Increased number of students completing A-G requirements, the number of students accepted to 4-year colleges, and the number of students earning concurrent and dual enrollment credits-Coordinator of school-wide CA Colleges Guidance Initiative -Coordinator of Concurrent and Dual Enrollment -College and Career Advisor grades 9-12 -AVID- Administrator, Counselor Coordinator, and Teacher -Financial Aid and Scholarship Coordinator -Community Relations and Student Service Coordinator working with SCICON Conservation, the Tulare International Agri-Center’s AgVenture’s, United Way, Kiwanis, and multiple local organizations to support student access -Support of IEP, 504 and student study teams -Co-administrator of school-wide PBIS -Co-administrator of school-wide MTMDSS and RtI -Support Get Focused, Stay Focused school-wide -Math Educator- 20+ years as a K-9 educator of Mathematics, Visalia Unified School District -Kagan Coach- student engagement As the learning director of our early college public charter high school, the number of students participating in dual enrollment has increased annually along with the number of students who are college-ready. During my tenure, we have implemented AVID school-wide, increasing the number of students prepared for 4-year colleges and completing IGETC and we have our first an AA degree completer. My passion is helping all students understand college and career options and ensuring they keep all doors open toward achieving their potential.
