Sharifa Deanne Riley (she/her), B.A,M.A, is a Cultural & Community Strategist and Wellness Professional She is a graduate from the University of Ottawa (B.A.), Sir Sandford Fleming College (Post Graduate), and York University (M.A.)- As a Cultural & Community Strategist and Wellness Professional, I bring a unique blend of expertise in museum management, community engagement, marketing, and mindfulness. With over a decade of experience in curating meaningful cultural experiences, I continue to advocate for the preservation of heritage as a board member for the Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA), the Arts Education Network of Ontario (AENO), and the Ontario Museum Association (OMA). In my current role, I connect communities through impactful programs, fundraisers, and marketing initiatives while integrating mindfulness into my work and personal life as a certified meditation instructor. Whether curating an exhibit, developing a marketing strategy, or guiding a meditation session, my goal is always the same: to inspire, connect, and foster well-being. Outside of work, you'll find me dancing, baking, or spending quality time with my fiancé and our beloved cat, Kronos. I thrive on building relationships and am always excited to collaborate on projects that make a positive impact.
